These retreats are far more than simply hanging out with camels for a day. They offer the potential for enjoying a rich depth of feeling on every level, guided by the contemplative strength of camels, trees, rocks, earth and sky; wordlessly drawing us to do as they do… if we relate to them sensitively.
The camels here are regarded and treated as a Sacred Herd. You’ll discover that the older camels are tacitly aware of why you’re on retreat, why you’ve come. Your meetings and interactions with them will perfectly serve you in precisely the ways you need. Our retreats have a unique orientation that is not found or offered anywhere else.
One good day on retreat with the herd of camels will be a gift you will long cherish and draw from.
Open to anyone, fifteen years or older. A basic level of fitness is essential to participate.
Discount: $50 for regular monthly supporters of the sacred camels & horses.
Special group visits and retreats can also be arranged. Please contact us for more information.
