Baby Photos – Peaceful Baba

Baba in contemplative bliss repose…

Peaceful Baba was born March 2001. We’re raising a small amount of funds right now to provide him with a new winter shelter apart from the ‘rabble’ of the main herd. Peaceful likes contact with the herd but is also tending to seek out his own space these days. A wise, strong, and gentle camel, the other herd members look up to him…

Here are some very cute baby photos:

Birth of Peaceful Baba

Early days in the barn, straw, mattresses, blankets, and pillows…

Too cute !

Considering mischief with young Aldabran tortoise.

Just climbed the steps to the sacred garden…

Looking out into the greater world…

Adventuring across the Sanctuary…

Further adventures…

A few years later, adventuring together…

Peaceful yawning…

Now approaching 17, Peaceful Baba is carrying forward on a very arthritic knee. When he was an infant this same knee would cause him to limp at times. Several bouts of x-rays at the time revealed nothing. The limping went away, only to return again in the form of arthritis several years ago.

The fundraiser for Peaceful Baba’s new all weather shelter is coming along nicely, with about $2,500 so far raised of the $5,000 needed.

So we are half way there!! We need just a further $2,500 and we’re done!

What beautiful pictures of Peaceful Baba. Hope you will create a picture book of the camels and publish it and sell it world wide in bookstores. Just like what you have here, with a brief comment under each photo. Very enjoyable to look at without much mind involved. The hordes of page flippers are waiting. Thank you much for posting.
